Where to place entrance mats

Even though entrance mats have a name which will probably tell you that you should place them in front of your main door, you should also know that these mats are also commonly known as barrier mats. Therefore, their main purpose is to keep dust and dirt out of your home and rooms and capture as much of it as they can.

To achieve this end, entrance mats can basically be placed anywhere in the house, or rather at any entrances in your house. This means that they should of course be placed at your front door but you might find that placing them outside rooms’ entrances, on aisles as well as in hallways will also serve the same purpose of keeping the house clean, and more so. Therefore, where you place these barrier mats strategically is completely up to you, this will be a great way of keeping your home free of dirt.
